    第十七課 Lesson Seventeen

    一、教學(xué)內(nèi)容

    1.詞匯(略)。

    2.句型:1) How far is it? 2) Let's get on the bus.

    3.語(yǔ)法:小結(jié)代詞it的用法。

    二、教具

    錄音機(jī);教學(xué)掛圖(或模仿課文插圖自制)。

    三、課堂教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)

    1.復(fù)習(xí)值日生報(bào)告。

    教師可參照前幾課有關(guān)復(fù)習(xí)步驟進(jìn)行。

    2.通過(guò)對(duì)第十五課的內(nèi)容進(jìn)行提問(wèn)的方式,引出本課要學(xué)的對(duì)話:

    T: Are Jim and Li Lei going to have any classes next week?

    Ss: No,they aren't.

    T: What are they going to do next week?

    Ss: They're going to work on a farm next week.

    T:What work are they going to do there?

    Ss:They're going to help the farmers with their work.

    They're going to pick apples.

    T: Right. They're going to work hard on the farm.(讓學(xué)生猜hard一詞的詞義)。

    The farm is near, quite near. It's not far. Only a few kilometres.

    教師將上述生詞寫在黑板上,扼要說(shuō)明,反復(fù)領(lǐng)讀,直到學(xué)生初步掌握為止。

    3.準(zhǔn)備放課文第1部分錄音。教師板書(shū)聽(tīng)前提問(wèn)(Pre-listenins questions):

    1) Is Jim late? 2) How far is the farm?

    放課文錄音一至兩遍,學(xué)生回答黑板上的問(wèn)題。再放錄音,學(xué)生打開(kāi)書(shū)跟讀,反復(fù)三遍。教師講解對(duì)話中的難句(見(jiàn)難點(diǎn)講解1、2)。

    4.將大幅掛圖掛在黑板上(如條件不具備,可利用課本中插圖),教師先問(wèn)幾個(gè)一般問(wèn)題:

    T: Where are the students? Are they at school?

    Ss:No,they're on the farm.

    T:Are they working hard?

    Ss: Yes, they are.

    教師借助掛圖,教授剩余生詞,反復(fù)領(lǐng)讀。確信學(xué)生初步掌握全部生詞后,叫起一位程度較好的同學(xué),進(jìn)行以下問(wèn)答練習(xí):

    T: Can you see Li Lei in the picture?

    Ss: Yes, I can.

    T: What is he doing?

    Ss:He's picking apples.

    指導(dǎo)學(xué)生兩人一組,模仿剛才的示范表演,就這幅圖進(jìn)行問(wèn)答練習(xí)。

    5.打開(kāi)練習(xí)冊(cè),要求學(xué)生用筆頭形式獨(dú)立完成習(xí)題1。如果時(shí)間允許,數(shù)分鐘后,可核對(duì)部分答案。

    6.布置作業(yè)

    1)練習(xí)朗讀本課對(duì)話;2)抄寫生詞及短語(yǔ);3)完成練習(xí)冊(cè)習(xí)題。

    四、難點(diǎn)講解

    1.I think it's about seven.我想大約有7公里。

    句中代詞it指距離。在seven之后,省略了kilometres。

    代詞it的用法很多,請(qǐng)看以下例句:

    1) A: Where is my book? l can't find it.我的書(shū)在哪兒?我找不到了。你看不見(jiàn)嗎?

    就在桌子下面。

    B:Can't you see?It's under the desk.

    例句中it代替上文出現(xiàn)過(guò)的名詞book。

    2) A: What's this in English?這個(gè)東西用英語(yǔ)怎樣說(shuō)?橡皮。

    B: It's an eraser.

    例句中it代替上文出現(xiàn)的另一代詞this(也可代替that)。

    3) A: What time is it?幾點(diǎn)了?

    B: It's a quarter to seven.差一刻七點(diǎn)。

    例句中it指時(shí)間。

    2.Let's get on the bus.讓我們上車吧。

    這是一個(gè)祈使句。 Let's是let us的縮略形式,意為:“讓我們”;要做的事情包括聽(tīng)者在內(nèi)。在本課中,指李磊邀吉姆一同上車。如果所做的事情不包括聽(tīng)者在內(nèi),則一般不用縮略形式。例如:Please, Mr Hu, let us go home.胡老師,請(qǐng)讓我們回家吧。
