◆ Tom can play the guitar but he can’t play it very well.
well 副詞，意思是“很好地；較好地”，修飾動(dòng)詞，在句中常常作狀語。其形容詞形式是good。
例如：他唱歌唱得很好。He sings well.
翻譯句子：你的作業(yè)做得相當(dāng)好。
◆speak, say, tell 和 talk的用法：
1. speak側(cè)重開口說話，不側(cè)重說話的內(nèi)容，一般用作不及物動(dòng)詞；當(dāng)用作“說某種語言”時(shí)，要用speak+語言。
If you can’t speak English, please don’t speak. 如果你不會(huì)說英語，就不要說話。
2. say強(qiáng)調(diào)說話的內(nèi)容，多用作及物動(dòng)詞，后面跟說話的內(nèi)容。
---What does he say? 他說什么？
---He says he wants to join the music club. 他說他要加入音樂俱樂部。
3. tell意思是“告訴（某人某事）；講述…”。
tell a story of Cheng’e 講嫦娥的故事 tell a lie 說謊
當(dāng)表示“告訴某人某事”時(shí)，tell后面須跟雙賓語。
Don’t tell him this thing. 不要告訴他這件事。
4. talk側(cè)重“談話；交談”，主語一般是兩個(gè)人以上。常用短語：talk about…談?wù)撽P(guān)于…的事，talk with sb. 和某人交談。
