    Reading Tips for job interview success

    Ⅰ、Important Words

    1. right adj.合適的

    He is the right person for the job.

    2. quake

    eg. The ground quaked under his feet.

    3. smart

    eg. a smart businessman 一個精明的商人

    He looks smart. 他看起來很帥氣。

    4. excuse (常與for連用)

    (1) vt. 寬恕 Please excuse me for being late.

    (2) n. 借口 There is no excuse for not studying.

    5. bond n. 關(guān)系,聯(lián)系,紐帶

    the bonds of friendship 友誼的紐帶

    The trade agreement helped to strength bonds between the two countries.

    這項貿(mào)易協(xié)定有助于加強兩國之間的聯(lián)系。

    6. follow up 跟進,追究到底

    follow up a suggestion 貫徹一項建議

    7. land vt. 贏得,得到

    8. leave out 遺漏,省略
