　　JOHANNESBURG (Reuters) - Surfers around the world may complain about crowded conditions, but for dozens of South Africa wave riders it was the more the merrier as they lined up to break a world record by riding a single wave.

　　全世界的沖浪愛好者都會抱怨如此擁擠的`沖浪環(huán)境，但對于南非數(shù)十名沖浪者而言，人越多他們越高興，因為他們將一起站在同一個波浪上沖破世界紀(jì)錄。

　　Organisers of an event on Sunday that saw 73 surfers -- ages 7 to 67 -- ride the same wave for five seconds say they broke a Guinness Book of Records best of 44 people in Ireland.

　　上周日，73位7歲至67歲的沖浪者參加了此次沖浪活動。所有人同時站在一個波浪上停留5分鐘，打破了此前在愛爾蘭產(chǎn)生的44人同時沖浪的吉尼斯世界紀(jì)錄。

　　More than 1,000 onlookers watched from the beach near Cape Town and videographers documented the stunt, but the results have yet to be officially verified.

　　1000多名觀眾在開普敦附近海岸觀看此次沖浪活動，活動全程也被攝像機記錄了下來，但此次沖浪人數(shù)是否打破世界紀(jì)錄還沒有最后得到官方證實。
