whether的用法：

　　1、whether可以表示“是否”，引導(dǎo)賓語(yǔ)從句。

　　You may wonder whether it is true.

　　你可能想知道它是否是真的。

　　2、當(dāng)引導(dǎo)的從句中出現(xiàn)or not時(shí)，通常用whether。

　　I'm wondering whether you will come to my party or not tomorrow.

　　我想知道你明天是否來(lái)參加我的聚會(huì)。

　　3、to+動(dòng)詞的結(jié)構(gòu)（即動(dòng)詞不定式）前只能用whether。

　　Have you decided whether to accept the offer yet?

　　你決定好是否接受那個(gè)報(bào)價(jià)了嗎？

　　4、介詞prep.后只能用whether。

　　We're discussing the problem of whether to accept the offer.

　　我們正在討論關(guān)于是否接受報(bào)價(jià)的問(wèn)題。

　　5、當(dāng)賓語(yǔ)從句提到句首表示強(qiáng)調(diào)時(shí)，只能用whether引導(dǎo)。

　　Whether they can finish the work on time is still a problem.

　　他們是否能按時(shí)完成他們的工作還是個(gè)問(wèn)題。

　　6、只能用whether引導(dǎo)主語(yǔ)、表語(yǔ)或同位語(yǔ)從句。

　　The question is whether they will support the plan.

　　問(wèn)題是他們是否會(huì)支持這個(gè)計(jì)劃。

　　The question,whether we need it,has not yet been considered.

　　我們是否需要它這個(gè)問(wèn)題還沒(méi)有被考慮到。
