instruct多接指人的名詞或代詞作賓語,作“通知”解時還可接雙賓語,其直接賓語可由that從句充當。instruct還可接以帶或不帶疑問詞的動詞不定式或wh-從句充當補足語的復合賓語。可用于被動結(jié)構(gòu)。
